Thirty years since the introduction of CNC grinding technology
October 20, 2025As part of the management’s clear vision for PPM d.o.o. to become the first choice for the production of very large-dimension shafts and spindles by 2026, the first phase of the investment cycle has been successfully completed.
At the beginning of October 2025, a new precision cylindrical grinding machine for shafts and spindles was put into operation — a tool grinder capable of processing parts with a diameter of up to 500 mm and a total length of up to 2500 mm.
This sophisticated equipment is the largest machine of its kind in the region, further strengthening PPM d.o.o.’s position among the leading manufacturers in the field of metal machining.
The primary purpose of the new machine is to support cooperation with domestic and international companies—whether through providing precision cylindrical grinding services for their semi-finished parts or through the complete manufacturing of large-dimension shafts and spindles according to specific client requirements.
